One Month Check-up
Crosby got a great report at his check-up this week. He weighed 9 lbs. and was 21 inches long. Dr. Paxtor was very pleased with his growth/development thus far.
Our days seem to be getting a little easier as we're all figuring each other out. Crosby's awake and alert for longer periods these days and is learning how to take a nap without me. He really likes listening to classical music and/or "white noise" when he's going down for a nap. Soooo, I brought home all my cds from school and they're really helping him relax for nap time. Thankfully, he is sleeping much better during the day and at night...an answered prayer!!

Our Other Children
Our dogs are so attention deprived now that little Crosby has arrived. The only treats they've received lately are the remains of a watermelon shell. Although Domino thoroughly enjoyed her piece, Max soon left his disappointed that watermelons don't have any meat. Domino has since buried the remaining pieces of Max's half with the exception of the one that she's toting around the yard.
They've gotten to "smell" Crosby and after a few seconds they seem disinterested. Domino has been quite attentive to him when we're outside and he's crying or making noises. I imagine that she'll be very protective of him. :-)

Crosby visiting with Nanny and Pawpaw
This is Crosby with my grandparents. They weren't able to travel to the Carolinas to visit with him and had been anxiously awaiting our first trip to GA. We surprised them last Sunday by just showing up at the door unexpectedly. They were so surprised and totally enjoyed seeing their newest great-grandchild.
