Fire Station

On Saturday, we toured the new fire station on Lake Wylie. We were able to see the fire boat, climb through the big fire truck and meet lots of firemen. Crosby had a grand time and talked about it for the rest of the day!

Imaginon Library in Charlotte

Crosby and I had another fun day this week. We joined Alex and Wendy to ride the Lynx Light Rail Train into uptown Charlotte where we visited the Imaginon Library. This children's library is pretty spectacular. The entire first floor is dedicated to young children with dramatic play areas, craft areas, lots of kid friendly computers, and a cool toddlers area. The boys loved the train ride almost as much as the big, fancy library.

They were both mesmerized when we entered Imaginon.

We did read a few books while at the library, too! I just didn't get any pictures of that.

Charlotte Nature Center

Crosby and I recently went to the Charlotte Nature Center with our friends, Wendy and Alex. The boys had a fabulous time exploring the museum and playing with all the exhibits. Here they are playing with frogs, lizards and iguanas in a river that flowed from a very cool waterfall.

The boys didn't mind looking up close at the snakes.

They both wanted to climb in and swim with the turtle.

Whoa....check out that lil' bug!

Alex and Crosby were checking out the butterflies.

Crosby watched the bugs for a long time. Icky!! What is it with boys and bugs!?

Crosby's painting a paperweight (rock) to give to Daddy for Father's Day.

Crosby and Baby Will were having a little chat.

Croz and Caden were jamming out at Rayce's house.

Carowinds Again!!!

Look closely at Crosby's face- he's screeching with delight as Daddy sprays him with water.

Davis's Birthday Party

Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere!

Crosby played with this little hitting system for the longest time. He'd reluctantly walk away when someone else wanted to play but he always came back quickly.

Random Pictures

Crosby's doing a little dance in his monkey shoes!

Poor Mickey... This is how I found Crosby in the middle of a nap the other day. You can't see it in the picture but there were toys scattered all around the room. Apparently before he went to sleep he decided to redecorate.
