I love these moments....

I knew that Crosby LOVED this book and I also knew that we'd been reading the thing everyday for a few weeks BUT I didn't know that the child had completely memorized the entire book word-for-word. He just picked it up and started reading it to Gracyn.

Giggles...

Gracyn always smiles and laughs for Crosby. We were cleaning up his room one night when he started tossing things around and she started roaring with laughter.

Funny kid!

Crosby hasn't been taking regular naps for a few months now but this is how I found him one day during quiet time. If only I had a picture of his sweaty head after I took off the cap. :-)

Crazy kids....

"Look, I have my very own cup now...

and I even know where it belongs."

This was Gracyn's hair after her nap one day.
Seriously, it was spiked in a mohawk all on it's own.
(This one was especially for Papa.)

hmm...something's not quite right there bud

He very much enjoys dressing himself these days.
You just never know what he's going to walk out wearing. :-)

Preschool Sunday Service

This isn't a great picture but it clearly depicts Crosby's role in the performance.
He wasn't so much in to singing that day. :-)

Crosby's over on the right. Once he realized that the large screen behind them was showing different pictures from school he didn't pay a bit of attention to the songs.

This is what he was supposed to sing...

Funny Crosby Stories...

I had a coupon for Dove Dark Chocolate bars. Ordinarily, we don't buy such things, however, the coupon made them practically free. I bought two. One afternoon I found Crosby at the table with chocolate oozing from his mouth and grinning ear to ear. After a round of questioning, he fessed up that he had eaten the entire bar of dark chocolate. (That's like 5 squares of DARK chocolate.) He then smiled really big and said "Mom, I just can't help myself with candy."

While he was playing with Kelby one day, he said "wait Dad, let me present the rules." He most likely hears that at preschool. :-)

He had his second official visit to the dentist last month. He loves that place! Seriously, he loves going to the dentist. He's always tagged along with me and they usually let him check out their tools and visit the treasure box. I'm sure this will probably change if he has a bad experience there. Anyway, so prior to the appointment I tell him, "Crosby, we're going to the dentist today. Guess what you're going to get?" (totally expecting him to shout "Treasure box treat") Instead he squeals "I'm going to get Floss!" Ha - yep, you're going to get flavored floss too. :-) He had a great visit and was most delighted with his new floss and treasure box treat.

Crosby loves to explore and was rummaging through Kelby's old computer stuff one day when he came across a headset with attached microphone. Well, he thinks this is the coolest thing and plays with them regularly. One day, out of the blue, he asks me in a most serious voice, "Mom, did Daddy use to work at Chick-fil-A?" Hee hee hee

more camping pics...

Yay!

The Shuffleboard cheering section looks to be bored. :-)

Crosby played shuffleboard for the first time.
As you can see, he created his own version of the game.

Camping with Nana and Pops

cuddle time

We learned this trip that the tennis court makes a wonderful, fenced in play area. :-)

Pops and Croz cruising on the golf cart

Check out their funny faces...

Crosby LOVED playing with these guys! I think it made him feel like one of the big kids. :-)
