Weekend in Charleston and the Riverbanks Zoo

We had a wonderful time traveling with Kelby this past weekend. We sampled some delicious seafood, walked the streets of Charleston, visited The Battery area and then stopped by the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia on the way home. Crosby woke up when we were almost home and cried out "Where did the zoo go?" He loved seeing the animals and has been talking about them ever since. His favorites were the monkeys and the giraffes. (I'm basing that on the fact that those are the ones he's still talking about.) He also loved riding the trolley around downtown Charleston. He continues to ask about the trolley and all the people.

By the way, if you're in Charleston in the near future, I'd definitely recommend A.W. Shucks if you like seafood. We've tried several different places over the past few years and this is by far my new favorite. Fabulous crab cakes and bacon wrapped, stuffed shrimp....YUM, YUM.
